Weatherproofing cover paint with bionic effect for wood and composite wood outdoors.

Use for dimensionally unstable and dimensionally limited permanent wooden structural parts, e.g. wooden cladding, wooden facades or roof soffits.

Good resistance to run-off, isolating against many water-soluble wood components, matt surface, high water repellency, fast drying surface due to bionic effect, best color fastness, with a protective film against algae and fungal attack.

Product properties:

The bionic effect: high-tech-technology protection from nature! The micro-structured surface here leads to condensation of the moisture. Any form of water - rain, mist or dew - flows at record speed. The facades are instantly dry again, algae and fungi are thus deprived of their livelihood.

Sun Block technology: Because aggressive UV radiation permanently damages the material and the surface layer, we have equipped Drytec® HolzProtect with another innovative technology: thanks to the special Sun Block technology , the harmful part of the light is absorbed by special absorbers and made harmless. The binder and pigments are effectively protected, chalking is prevented, and color stability is drastically increased. Wooden surfaces protected with Drytec® HolzProtect therefore remain beautiful for a very long time.

Encapsulated biocides: intelligent technical protection against algae and fungi. As an environmentally friendly, high-quality and sustainable building material, wood is at risk from algae and fungi infestation on the surface. To ensure optimal all-round protection, Drytec® HolzProtect offers additional technical protection against harmful micro-organisms in addition to its natural protective function. Precisely dosed encapsulated biocides, which are activated according to the intensity of weathering, provide the highest level of protection.
